Hmm, today went to Tiong Bahru Plaza with Peihuang, Fransisca & Jenny for lunch. We looked at the directory for some time, and settled on Beppu Menkan Japanese Noodle Restaurant. Well, because I heard from Jiahao about the chilli rating over there. I settled on a Teriyaki Chicken Ramen with 8 chilli rating. Lolz…

I can definitely feel the spice, and it is spicier than the Volcano Ramen at Ajisen. But then again, I still didn’t need to drink. Wahaha… dunno why, I am admiring myself as one of the endangered breeds in our tiny nation left. One day I must try out the famous spicy buffalo wings at ermz, wherever it is. But I need to gather enough chilli gods in my circle of friends. Until then…

Well well… Looks like I’m blogging less now that I’m working isn’t it? It probably accounts for 70% of the reason, but not the entirety. (Lets talk about the rest later) Regarding work, it is amazing how the short 3 weeks so far, it was good, much much much more enjoyable than the kind of work I spent doing in the 1.75 years in you know where. Colleagues are nice, and there will be random talks here there on various random topics. The manager is nice too, and sometimes gimme lil’ bit of munchies here & there. The supervisor is nice too, and the person I’m helping is nice too! Ok, there are more females in the dept but that was not the point, hah! Even the guys in there are generally nice, approachable and they don’t treat you like a puny temp staff to be thrown all the shit. Its great to know people remember your names, and I will remember names (if I get to know them in the first place) I’ve been thru many things, and even as a puny temp staff now, calling people by their names still receive great reception. Hey… here is someone who will remember you.

On other news, why am I so busy now? Hahahaha…. Well, I’m re-addicted to DotA. Spent quite a bit of time honing back whatever skills I had in the game, and establishing new mindsets and strategies. Had some fun with my bro I’m definitely not a professional gamer. But I think amongst the casual gamers, I tend to always fall above the average. Yea man… I have a knack of learning games. (Sometimes it is also because I have a big ego… which can be a weakness really… I play to win, ’nuff said)

Finally, about Euros 08, the hot topic now eh… For a soccer fan I had been really quiet about this. None of my supported club’s players are left in the tournament… Many of my predictions went kuku… In fact this do not only apply to me. I mean… so many favorites are now out of the tournament… Portugal… Croatia… Netherlands… To be fair, Russia looked like a dark horse ready to pounce, unbelievable from them. That Arshavin looked like a special little player. Lets continue to watch… Will Germany or Spain now have their way on the glorious path, or will more giant slaying await us?

Ok, so… my supposed assistant/co-worker still did not magically appear. So I’m still chugging away at the mountain piles of files to clear. Everyday… the backlog is still there. And every now and then, I think new batches will come in. Why do cab hirers have such a high turnover rate? Or maybe its just me thinking that. Ok bah, did like 128 hirers accounts and ermz, around 23-ish relief accounts bah, not including today’s tally, which I forgot.

Then well, tonight went to Thai Express @ Citylink Mall to meet up with my comm members for dinner. Actually to share / finalize some details & have an expensive dinner -.- Grats… I haven got my paycheck. I had some curry softcrab rice thingie, and Vincent got laksa (dunno which type). Emma had some beef noodle (izzit noodles?!) thingie and Cheryl had green curry blah blah. Sorry I wasn’t attentive… hahaha… I was already damn tired during the dinner lah. Then there is a plate of chicken wings that come FoC with use of DBS (izzit DBS?! lolz…) card. Then, finally, the dessert, there is this tapioca thingie which is not bad bah, saw that its voted best on the menu, so we just tried it After that, its a long long walk to the esplanade to get my bus, which came within 15 secs, how wonderful!

Hurhur… Where do I start? Right… its BORING work again, hahaha… been doing the same old stuffs again. my gonna-to-be attached helper did not come yet, dunno wad involved in wad project. The longer the delay… the less leftovers there might be left… soon… Crap… Ok I shall slow down.

Actually nothing much happened today, except for… This idiotic faggot of an old auntie… Idiot idiot idiot… just wanna take free bus ride say lah… give excuse… what shouting aloud when questioned why she boarded the bus via the exit door (such that cnt tap the ezlink), scolding in the bus… “I waited for the bus so long you know, 45 minutes. Yea man… you expect a homogeneous translation of all the passengers in the bus towards the back within 5 seconds of people alighting? And she got a very qian bian look… Jump up the bus via the back door and immediately face behind and ignore the “hello” from the bus conductor. Poor Susan got yelled at for nth for conveying the conductor’s message. Farking hell, if my mood was any worse that faggot will face my wrath… Such idiots should be blasted to oblivion in the depths of hell. Spoil my day…

But of course the great jh came and save my day. By making my pc good to go again On other news, results for Euros 2008 are still going on course with my predictions… not that I made any profit though… boohoo. Portugal looked strong, sprinted out from the get go… can they maintain? hurhur…

Well, down here one becomes an adult at 21 years of age, which, had already passed by me quite long ago (1 year to be exact). So, this is actually about Ke Wei, hahaha. She has like many “scandals” during the organised function. Whoops, I’m not in a position to reveal more, hah. Erm ok wait, actually she is still a minor lol… The celebration was kinda brought forward to the weekend for convenience. And it was held yesterday. Overall the atmosphere was quite nice. I’m not picky about food (really :P), and there were comedic moments, esp the slideshow featuring the princess for the night, haha.

Waited quite long, for a chance to play pool. Haha… there is only 1 table over there. Wei Bao kinda got thrashed by someone else, someone we dunno that is. I lost to Hong Chang by 1 ball, lolz, but actually he helped knocked two of mine in. Lousy skills + too long never play = cmi, sighz. But Joy play funnier, haha, alot of mis-shots. Oh wait wait, here’s to reminding myself on the purposeful tops the Battalia HR comm (7 persons) put themselves into an array of rainbow colors, and Ke Wei wearing white just so happens to be the “cloud”. Hilarious.

Lets see, I reached home kinda close to midnight, and… jh wished me happy birthday on the stroke of midnight… Wow… so zhun! YES, it is my birthday today, muahahaha. But never celebrate lah. Thanks all for the well wishes and erm, the gift. You know what, its kinda funny to receive a birthday gift during another person’s birthday celebration. Lolz, appreciate it.

Hmm, apologies for not wishing Ken happy birthday… So sorry my com was in very bad shape, totally sian diao. One of my jc clique dudes who happen to share a birthday with my daddy! YES thats right, I have lots of important people whose birthday falls in June. $$$, gah… hahaha. Coming up about 1 week later is a triple consecutive birthdays sia… Susan, Kah Hwee & my mummy! Kah Hwee was going crazy about geminis… dunno why, our cliques too many geminis le. She can go crazy lah. I have no time to buy present. Haha. Ok wait thats an excuse… weekend then see how lah.

Meanwhile, its a wait for the start of another work week… sian!

Well… what do we have here? So it turned out my JC clique decided to brood over our results in Swensens yesterday, all the way at Marina Square no doubt. But it is ok… I have a direct bus. Why Swensens? God knows, maybe as a sweetener to soften the blow of our exam results? And in any case, Ken alerted us (izzit him?) to the 1-for-1 ice cream thingie, so I guess the cost is quite reasonable.

D-2.5 hour: Still on msn with the clique. I didn’t feel any sense of tranquility at all. My heart was like bubbling (with panic and anxiety) For many times, I told myself… BELIEVE! Not this time, I had a really really negative feeling…

D-1.5 hour: I should have left home. I had not. Thought I was gonna be late. In fact, everything suggested that I will be late. I still had to walk to purchase my bus concession travel, and backtrack. Until… I saw the bus, and ran towards it (my usual regular exercise?), evading some people and a cab on the way. Well, thanks to the driver who was nice enough to wait.

D-0.5 hour: On the dot of time, I reached the destination at our agreed meeting time. Saw Dom, Zong and jh. Well well, Ken is the latest one! hahaha. Nvm, at least I remembered to superpoke jh’s tummy this time.

D hour: That was it… the moment of revelation, despair, and sorrow. What grief and agony! There were mixed feelings, but the negative one was hugely dominant. The passages of time I cannot command, moments of folly forever entrenched.

One mod was staring at me right in the face, and it struck me like a thunderbolt. Dude… wake up… you got a B- for sleeping in lectures AND tutorials… What more could you ask for? THAT, exactly, was the problem. Solo-ing a mod is painful, with double 8am lectures no less. I was complacent… no… I was ARROGANT. It was painful, very painful, to score less than people who should not have been. Hurhur… I guess, congrats bro, you have won me in Maths for the first time in your life. But now an important decision awaits me… this mod, I cannot S/U it if the pursuit of that minor remains in my agenda. It pulled my CAP down. S/U-ing it will pull my CAP up. Wow… what a big difference. Decisive moment, not to be enshrouded in folly again…

On other modules, I’m very very disappointed in another too. I’m supposed to have an affinity with numbers… you know, but I guess balancing numbers are more difficult than manipulating numbers? Hurhur… Crap, it has to stand side-by-side with marketing in my grand scheme of results, utter crap! To my 2 dearest group mates in this mod, so sorry coz I think our project didn’t manage a desired standard.

The rest was good. I actually got better than anticipated in the mod that you can bring a mountain of text into the exam hall. Guessed what? I read those 3 textbooks in 3 days, haha… marvelous I say (I’m less qualitatively-inclined). But then, my strongest mod this sem was a surprise! I had wanted to get it over and done with and have nothing more to do with that department. It probably still stands that way, but wow… I actually scored higher than the other mod which I didn’t feel much need to study at all. Sometimes life is so full of uncertainties…

After numerous cussing, unhappiness, and gloom, Zong & Dom went to play 2 rounds of bowling each. I was still moody… Well, what came next was talking nonsense, some stoning, and dinner. After that, home sweet home. Was tired… and slept on the bus. Got informed that OG outing is scrapped, poor attendance… yea man. But it was actually as strong as my JC clique number wise (but not as bonded bah). Hmm, just missed the chance to see why people say she has the party & naughty look. Whoops, imagine I didn’t type that.

Finally, like OMG. I am gonna work? That is interesting (and unbelievable). I’m like a natural born slacker lah…

Well well… what do we have here in this lame post? Yes, the most blatant useless piece of fact I’m going to post is… I lost my hair (ok not all of them…)

Said goodbye to my longest ever hair thus far in my life. Do I miss it? I don’t think so. It doesn’t really matter. Several reasons prompted the visit to the hairdresser. 1) My hair is getting out of control… certain parts curling against my wishes and er… some “outstanding” strands of hair… 2) Aunt thinks I’m turning into a hippie… 3) The weather is friggin’ unaccommodating, and I can use less shampoo too…

So ok… my hair… I still kept it relatively long, but already lost about 7cm of hair at the back. Opps
